NCCF
The NCCF – making that difference!

The charity is delivering £6m of projects under the Aged Veterans Fund into the British Nuclear Test Veterans Community. These projects are to enhance health, wellbeing and inclusion whilst reducing suffering.

The NCCF has been delivering these projects since 2016 under the stewardship of the British Nuclear Test Veterans Association and became a fully operational independent CIO Foundation on 23 June 2017.

They hold a significant endowment which is managed and invested to provide a long-term income specifically in support of its Care, Wellbeing and Inclusion Fund (CWI Fund).

The available Trustee positions are on a voluntary basis attracting reimbursement of reasonable expenses in accord with the organisation’s constitution and policy documentation.
Minimum engagement required is active attendance at Board Meetings (maximum of 4 per year) usually held in London. Contribution to the running of the charity through its IT infrastructure, home-based, approximately 5 hours per month and occasional attendance at presentations or events.

The charity has skills gaps in Financial Management, Health and Wellbeing Grant Assessment, Occupational Therapy Awareness and wider Charity Governance.

Because a lot of the work of the charity is focussed on a veteran community preference may be given to former service personnel or persons with a connection to the Nuclear Test Community.
