Centre for Health Effects of Radiological and Chemical Agents Launch Day!

Centre for Health Effects of Radiological and Chemical Agents (CHRC) is holding its landmark ‘Launch Day’ event at Brunel University London on the 8th February 2018.

The CHRC at Brunel University London is a new initiative exploring the health impact of radiological and chemical agents on military personnel and their families. Supported by funding from the Nuclear Community Charity Fund obtained from the Aged Veterans Fund (AVF),  The Centre will be hosting a half-day launch event commencing 12:30 hours in the Newton Room, Hamilton Centre at Brunel University London on the 8th of February.

This event will be of particular interest to veterans and researchers interested in the effects of radiation and chemicals on the genetics, psychosocial and wellbeing of nuclear test veterans and their families. To come along please register with ‘eventbrite’ at the link below.

The launch of the CHRC marks the accomplishment of a long-held goal of the British Nuclear Veteran Community and for the next three years, the NCCF will be using funds from Libor fines allocated by the Chancellor through the AVF initiative to support the Centre.
